Professor Roger Kirby | Chairman & Event Participant | Prostate Action & The Urology Foundation

"I have worked with Action for Charity in conjunction with both Prostate Action and The Urology Foundation (TUF) for a number of years. The organisation of four consecutive Hike for Hope challenges, which have raised £1.35m, has always been faultless. For TUF, Action for Charity has organised cycle challenges in Sicily, Malawi and Madagascar and each one has been hugely successful both in terms of fundraising and publicity perspectives. I have the highest opinion of Action for Charity and have no hesitation in recommending them to any charity seeking to embark on fundraising challenges. They are simply the best!"

Maddy Durant | Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust | Women V Cancer Cycle Cuba

I took part in Women V Cancer Cycle Cuba in 2013 and it was one of the best physical things I’ve ever done. It was an incredible experience and I met some truly inspiring women. I’d love to do one every year!

Nicki Sharp, | Breast Cancer Care | Women V Cancer Challenges

Breast Cancer Care have worked with Action for Charity on the Women V Cancer partnership since 2010. It’s truly a pleasure working with such a talented team and the funds raised to date, an incredible £7 million, have made such an enormous difference to the three charities. I’ve taken part in two Women V Cancer challenges – Cycle Cuba in 2014 and Cycle Africa in 2015 and they were up there with the best experiences of my life. The challenges are extremely well run, the participants well looked after and an amazing amount is raised each time.

Gwynne Furlong | Regain the Charity for Sports Tetraplegics | Overseas Cycling Challenges

“I have now been involved with Action for Charity since 2003 when I took part in my first overseas cycle challenge for Regain the Charity for Sports Tetraplegics. Since then I have been on eight different overseas rides organised by Action for Charity / Dream Challenges and everyone single one has proven to be both a challenge and a hugely inspiring event, ultimately raising loads of money for the Charity. AfC also arrange and manage the most successful fundraiser for Regain in the form of the Snowdon challenge, regularly raising in excess of £150,000 for a single triathlon type event in Wales. Having taken over as the CEO of Regain some three years ago I am also forever grateful for the amazing back up services provided by AfC in the form of both administration and organisation of our annual awards lunch and the publication of our regular newsletters. Ann Frampton and her team are an exceptionally committed bunch of people and  I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for fund raising and events organisation”.

Emily Legg | Ovarian Cancer Action | Women V Cancer Challenges

Ovarian Cancer Action has been a partner charity to Women V Cancer for over 4 years and have always been delighted with Action for Charity’s professional event management. As a charity representative and participant on 3 international Women V Cancer events, I have thoroughly enjoyed every single challenge, each with its own testing environment and terrain. I am privileged to have met so many inspirational women on each event, many of whom have battled cancer themselves, and being part of a group of women with such determination and will-power to help women suffering from breast, cervical and ovarian cancer. I can’t wait for the next challenge…
